I SLAMMER mills they are mainly used for the pre-grinding and pre-refining of hard materials (feldspar, basalt, quartz, etc.) and ceramic scraps, even those with high hardness (procellated stoneware, sanitaryware, etc.).
They consist of a thick sheet metal frame suitably covered on the inside by an armor plate with interchangeable anti-wear alloy hammers, a rotor on which the grinding hammers are mounted and a clod breaking hammer unit also covered with a hammer plate in interchangeable anti-wear alloy.
The rotor and armor hammers can be rotated easily for better use.
The inside of the mill, in order to allow an easy and rapid replacement of the hammers, can be easily inspected through various hatches that can be opened with a high safety hydraulic system.
An additional door on sliding guides located in the material outlet allows for the possible installation of calibrating grids.
SLAMMER mills are perfectly suited to the primary grinding needs at the beginning of the raw material preparation process and unlike traditional mills, they allow for high productivity with the possibility of receiving hard material, even contaminated by plastic materials, with dimensions up to 300mm and with high humidity levels.
