PIG Hammer Mill

Consisting of a thick sheet metal frame suitably coated inside with circular and lateral armor plates inserted in wear-resistant material (HRC 67), a rotor on which the grinding hammers in special alloy (HRC 70) are mounted, a hammer unit clod breakers and calibrating grids.

The hammers, which are made of a special alloy and last longer than usual, can be easily rotated to obtain better exploitation. The inside of the mill can be easily inspected through various hatches in order to allow an easy and rapid replacement of the hammers, shells and grids.

PIG HD MILL

PIG HD mills are part of the family of standard PIG mills, of which they maintain the very high particle size reduction ratio but drastically increase their characteristics of productivity, duration and ease of maintenance.

To the robust basic structure already provided in the standard versions, a drawer with hydraulic opening has been added in the lower part of the mill on which the 2 calibrating grids in plated sheet metal are housed, with overall dimensions significantly increasing. The large front door can be opened by means of a hydraulic device which allows easy inspection and replacement, in safe conditions, of the parts subject to wear.

To further improve the yield of the mill (greater granulometric reduction or reduction of grinding times) the rotor shaft is equipped with special SKF bearings with oil lubrication, specifically designed to operate at high speeds and temperatures ensuring effective protection from impurities, lubrication optimal, simple replacement and longer life.
