Manfredini & Schianchi Paddle Extractors are mounted under raw material storage silos for emptying them or otherwise under loading hoppers in the event that the material is already ground.
The emptying process is accomplished gradually; both feeding speed and flow rate are adjustable. The wavy movement of the paddles grants a more accurate and even distribution of the material onto the conveyor belt.
MS Paddle Extractors are made of thick sheet metal; the bottom outlet side is fitted with replaceable rubber strips which come into contact with the extractor belt; the paddles are also made of thick sheet metal with an extra long resistance to wear and are bolted to their shafts; the shafts of the drive forks can be removed whenever requested and they are mounted onto supports. The paddles are driven by a self-braking gear motor and connecting rod which can be adjusted in the event that you need to increase or reduce the flow rate. The drive unit is enclosed within a perforated sheet metal case enabling a better visibility.

Two "indicator plates" located next to a movement sensor are attached to the paddle shafts; they signal to the central system control board when the paddles are moving or when they are in closed position.
