WITH "FUSION" PORCELAIN STONEWARE IN INDIA BECOMES “ECO FRIENDLY”

BLIZZARD VITRIFIED LIMITED, a new and young ceramic company in the Morbi district (Gujarat-India), has chosen MS-Drytech dry technology with FUSION granulation for the new glazed porcelain stoneware factory (Glazed Vitrified tiles GVT).

The new M&S line will have a production capacity of 15 tons/h and will feed a line that will produce approximately 300.000 m60/month in the fully squared and rectified 60x60 and 120x4 formats. The main grinding phase uses the concept of "open cycle" grinding complete with drying coming from a heat recovery system from the ovens in the MOLOMAX 150/20 MILL (suitable for receiving raw materials with humidity up to 0,1%) which allows to obtain a perfectly homogenized ceramic mixture, with constant output humidity and a grain size cut that allows perfect vitrification of the final product for a water absorption of <XNUMX%.

The MADIREX humidification phase is a fundamental part of the process to obtain a dough with constant humidity with the great advantage of being completely automated via a feed weighing system, which, through specific software, automatically controls the humidity and doses the percentage perfectly. of water to add to the dough.

At the end of the process before storage, with the patented FUSION granulation technology, a powder is obtained with a flowability and mold filling index similar to the best atomised ones with the possibility of also being colored dry just before the pressing phase.

Manfredini & Schianchi once again confirms itself as a leader in dry pressed ceramic preparation technology which with this further reference in porcelain stoneware (first in all of Asia) will allow its customers to produce ceramic tiles with high added value with reduced water consumption of over 90%, 20% electricity, 60% fuel (gas and coal), no chemical additives in the dough preparation, total recycling of production waste, effectively certifying its products in the "green" category.

RAK CERAMIC ALSO ADOPTS THE FUSION TECHNOLOGY OF MANFREDINI & SCHIANCHI

RAK Ceramics

Fusion MS

RAK CERAMICS, the most famous and largest Middle Eastern ceramic group, as well as the third largest producer in the world, recently commissioned Manfredini & Schianchi to build the FUSION granulation tower at the MC09 factory, where the high-pressure grinding plant has been in operation since 2006. dry MS-Drytech.

The final aim of the famous UAE manufacturer located in Ras al Kaima is to be able to produce large single-fired formats up to a 60x120 format with subsequent squaring and dry grinding phase.

This technological solution was chosen by the RAK group for the advantages it brings both from the point of view of the production process and environmental sustainability which in this case can be traced back to the considerable water saving which, thanks to FUSION, is over 9 million litres. of water per year compared to wet preparation technology.

FUSION is not a technology that allows you to obtain a simple granulate, but it is a real "dry atomizer" as the final result is a high quality ceramic product with better tensile strength characteristics when green, dried and fired, as well as the same drying and firing cycles and the extremely homogeneous surface of the support, ideal for glossy and material effect applications for both coverings and floors.

NEW MOLOMAX 6/190 MILL FOR ARAMCENCO

The ARACEMCO ceramic group, a historic Egyptian company operating since 1975, has purchased a new MOLOMAX 6/230 pendulum mill to improve the production capacity of its raw material preparation plant.

This further supply establishes and consolidates the technological partnership between Manfredini & Schianchi and the important ceramic group and is a further step in the reliability and development of dry technology for the ceramic industry in Egypt

Five years later, when the first dry raw material preparation plant was installed, Aramcenco has achieved all the objectives set for increasing productivity: first choice, energy saving, use of "KM 0" raw materials and recycling of waste production have been largely achieved with great satisfaction on the part of the customer who has seen a significant increase in sales and related profit, allowing an extremely short "Return on Investments ROI".

This enormous escalation in production led ARACEMCO to choose a technology that would allow it greater competitiveness in production and quality terms to always remain a leader in its market segment, demonstrating once again that Manfredini & Schianchi is the winning choice.

IMPORTANT TECHNICAL SUPPLY OF MS TO COMPAGNIA ITALIANA SALI

Italian company salts

Salt washing screw

Salt iodization system

Manfredini & Schianchi, always active in the field of salt treatment machines and systems, has supplied Compagni Italiana Sali (CIS), part of the very important European SALINS group, with a salt washing system and an additive dosing system.

The washing system consists of a vibrating unloader and a washing screw completely made of AISI 304 stainless steel with an hourly production of 40 TH which feeds a latest generation Conturbex vibrating centrifuge and allows purities above 99,5% to be obtained of NaCl with a residual humidity < 2%

The discontinuous dosing system, with a capacity of 3TH, allows the extra fine salt to be recovered and added with liquid iodine and solid anti-caking, allowing a dosage perfectly in compliance with the stringent European standards and consequently providing a very high added value to the product finished.
