NEW HEADQUARTERS FOR MANFREDINI & SCHIANCHI DO BRASIL

Manfredini & Schianchi do Brasil, the Brazilian subsidiary of the Italian Manfredini & Schianchi, began a corporate and logistical renewal in August. The new headquarters, now located in IÇARA, in the state of Santa Catarina, has been inaugurated.
The new structure consists of an area dedicated to production which covers an area of 700 m5.000, an external storage area of XNUMX mXNUMX and a two-storey building dedicated to offices. In addition to renovating the headquarters, Manfredini & Schianchi do Brasil has changed its corporate structure and changed some partners. The shareholding held by the Italian parent company has increased and two other Italian companies have entered the share capital.
The new sole director is Mauro Sabadin, who also holds a significant share of the company.
Manfredini & Schianchi do Brasil closed 2005 with a turnover of approximately 7 million Reais (over 2,5 million euros), of which over 50% was generated by sales abroad. After becoming a leader in the sector of material preparation for the ceramic and brick industry on the Brazilian market, today the company has also become a point of reference in the entire South American area.

We hereby invite you to the next tecnarancio which will be held at the Rimini exhibition center from 28 September to 02 October.
Manfredini & Schianchi will be present with its own stand, where it will display the latest innovations both for the pressed ceramic sector and for the extruded ceramic sector.
In particular we will be happy to show you the latest works of our R&D center which from this year is also a MIUR laboratory, such as porcelain stoneware, the large 60x90 formats in porous and vitrified single-fired tiles obtained with the patented PPFV-CDP dry mix preparation technology.

M&S COLLABORATES WITH PICCININI IMPIANTI

Manfredini e Schianchi has recently concluded a commercial agreement with Piccinini Impianti for the supply of a complete plant for the preparation of raw materials for the production of bricks, at the Inkeram company (Russia).
The plant has a production capacity of 32 tons/hour. The raw materials are first dried using a latest generation rotary dryer; then they are subsequently treated through the M&S “Drytech” plant, by grinding with Maxi-PIG and PIG/A-finitor type hammer millsi, and subsequently selected and humidified.
This plant has the peculiarity of having operational flexibility which allows it to operate without the dryer in periods with less critical climatic conditions, thanks to the tested heating systems of the mills and screens which allow it to tolerate high levels of humidity. This type of flexibility and the high production mean that the transformation costs are extremely advantageous compared to other raw material preparation systems.

MUNDO CERAMIC ELECTS M&S AS SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR 2006

Ceramic World

With great satisfaction, the May issue of the important Brazilian magazine Mundo Ceramico declared M&S as the best supplier of the year 2006 in the 'Preparaçao de massa' (raw material preparation) sector.

The ranking saw M&S elected with 41% of the votes; Enaplic with 31%; Sacmi with 15%; while LB is in last place with 13%.
This is an important recognition for M&S, because Mundo Ceramico assigns the scores for this special ranking based on the votes that Brazilian ceramic officials give via a form attached to the magazine.

For M&S, Brazil is a strategic market from a ceramic point of view, where 'dry' pressed technology dominates compared to 'wet' technology. This is demonstrated by the fact that M&S has supplied more than 12 raw material preparation plants in 30 years of presence in Brazil, becoming in all respects a leading company in the sector.

M&S AND CERIC TOGETHER IN MEXICO

Ceric and M&S began collaborating in January 2006, in plant synergies. In fact M&S, through its innovative raw material treatment process Drytech, stands as a reference company in the global panorama of the Heavy Clay plant engineering industry. The collaboration between Ceric and M&S came to fruition with the Binsa project (Mexico).
The factory in question will have to produce tiles and bricks and is made up of two parallel raw material grinding lines, joint but at the same time independent, capable of producing a total of more than 30 tons/hour.
The plant will come into operation by December 2006 and is without a doubt an important reference from a quality/cost point of view in the Central American market.

MANFREDINI & SCHIANCHI TECHNOLOGY TO THE SAN LORENZO GROUP IN PERU

Moagem a seco

Manfredini & Schianchi recently tested a dry material preparation plant at the Peruvian ceramic plant of the San Lorenzo Group (Etex group) intended for the production of vitrified red body single-fired tiles (semi-grès).
The very high quality level of production (low water absorption, high breaking load, surface free of any imperfection and with first choice percentages of over 93%) have allowed the customer to launch ceramic tiles on the market which are very welcome to customers.
The plant was built entirely at the Brazilian headquarters of M&S, Manfredini & Schianchi do Brasil Ltda, at the factory located in the state of Santa Catarina (Brazil).
The process comes with a PIG type hammer mill, MS-4/150 pendulum mill, MS inclined screens, MS/38/KSTB-F wetting-granulating machine with humidity control and management and press homogenization system via MS/1130 Rotary Screens.
The laboratory tests were carried out entirely in Italy, while the complete system was built, assembled and tested directly by Brazilian personnel.
Today, thanks to this new plant, the San Lorenzo Group produces a type of product that is superior to any other competitor, so much so that in just a few months it has managed to become number 1 in the entire Peruvian market and one of the best in the entire South America .

MANFREDINI & SCHIANCHI TECHNOLOGY AT SOGUT SERAMIK (Türkiye)

Manfredini & Schianchi was commissioned by the prestigious Turkish ceramic group Sogutsen for the supply of a complete process of dry preparation of raw materials of the "PPFV" type intended for the production of single-fired floor and wall tiles and ceramic wall tiles. rapid double firing.

The plant, which will be tested shortly, has a production capacity of over 30 tons/h and has as its main characteristics the very high management flexibility and rigid quality control to be able to manage various types of mixtures with different shades and ceramic parameters which embrace the entire production of glazed tiles of the Sogutsen Group.
