CERAMIC BODY PREPARATION SYSTEM CDP "CLEVER DRY PROCESSING"

Manfredini & Schianchi, a leading company for the supply of systems for the preparation of ceramic bodies using "dry" methods, is pleased to present the latest technological development born in its R&D centre. It is a patented system which, installed in the respective main machines of the process (primary mill, secondary air vein classifier mill and humidifier/pelletizer) guarantees a drastic reduction in wear, constant performance of the machines over time, reduction in absorption electrical but above all an adaptability of the machines themselves to process raw materials with different physical and chemical characteristics and inconsistent homogeneity. The name (Clever) was born from this last characteristic of the process because for the first time in the history of ceramic technologies, there is a system that automatically regulates the process machines according to the different characteristics of humidity, hardness and grindability of the raw materials that make up the ceramic mixture.
If to all this we also add the constant productivity over time with the consequent decrease in wear and electrical absorption, and the already known advantages in terms of energy savings and increase in the final quality of the ceramic product that the M&S process brings, we conclude that the reduction in production costs can reach over 85% compared to the traditional wet preparation system with atomizer.

R&D Center

MANFREDINI & SCHIANCHI IS HONORABLE TO SERVE RAK CERAMICS AGAIN

RAK CERAMICS

It is being built at the headquarters of Ras al Khaimah (United Arab Emirates) by Rak Ceramics, a new line of dry preparation of raw materials with Manfredini & Schianchi technology.

The new 45 ton/hour line will serve a new gigantic 40.000 m2/day production unit of high quality monoporous products with high technical and aesthetic characteristics.
The raw material preparation plant commissioned from the well-known Sassolese company is the result of a global technological analysis specifically designed by Manfredini & Schianchi together with the highly trained technical staff of Rak Ceramics.

The ceramic group led by Dr. Khater Massaad is at the top of the world in terms of productivity, creativity and competitiveness.

MANFREDINI & SCHIANCHI EXPANDS INTO THE BRICK SECTOR

La LAFARGE COUVERTURE of Marseille has commissioned M&S a tile mixture preparation plant with a production capacity of over 48 Ton/H.

The heart of the plant is certainly the grinding system with i PIG-Dryer series hammer mills what thanks to the patented armor heating system, are able to refine raw materials with a moisture content of up to 13%.

Bricks in general

EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE FOR M&S PENDULUM MILLS

Commuter Mill

I MS Pendular Mills are gaining more and more approval from customers in the ceramic-brick and chemical-mining industries. The main advantages compared to similar mills or track and roller mills produced are:

- low wear (example: in a ceramic mixture with over 90% of abrasive material with a MOSH scale of 7, 1200 continuous working hours can easily be reached without a drop in machine performance)
- easy maintenance (it takes less than two hours for normal phases)
- low electrical consumption (less than 15Kw/ton) unlike track and roller mills which on average have a 30% higher consumption
- An extremely low average heat consumption (< 5 m3/ton of natural gas) because unlike track and roller mills it is not necessary for the raw material to be dried to 0-1% humidity in order to be ground
- extremely precise grain size cutting (up to 99%<40microns depending on the separator configuration)
- high production capacities (up to 35 Ton/h)

Over 150 machine-plants installed all over the world confirm that M&S is the ideal partner for customers who want to achieve savings in production processes and high quality standards in the final product.

MURUDESHWAR CERAMICS (INDIA) ALSO RELYS ON M&S TECHNOLOGY

Last January, Manfredini & Schianchi signed another important agreement for the supply of a "PPFV" dry ceramic body preparation plant, at the ceramic division of the Murudeshwar group in Bangalore.

The heart of the system is certainly brand new MS-6-190 Pendular Mill (for the first time in India), which together with the already established PIG/8/A hammer mill will guarantee production capacities of between 25-30 tons/h and energy savings of over 80% compared to the traditional grinding system wet.

The plant will feed a production line which in 2 phases will be able to produce up to 30.000 m2/day of high quality standard red body single-fired floor tiles.
