M&S GROWS IN THE MIDDLE EAST

Manfredini & Schianchi continues its development and growth in the countries of the Middle Eastern area.

Ehsan Tile, an important Iranian company, located just outside Tehran, has commissioned two systems from M&S:
The first supply concerns a dry grinding process for the production of approximately 20.000 square meters of vitrified red stoneware flooring and coverings.
This plant is the first in the world to use the innovative MS-6/190 Pendular Mill and the very high performance MS/14/265 screens; with very high production capacities.
The second supply concerns a hard (feldspar) pre-grinding plant through the use of two rotating ring mills.

Al Anwar Ceramic Tile, a leading ceramic company in Oman, will receive from M&S a dry grinding plant for the production of rapid double-fired cladding for the production of 9.000 m12.000/day; while another line will be dedicated to the production of XNUMX mXNUMX/day of single-fired flooring and coverings.

INNOVATIVE "PPVF" DOUGH PREPARATION SYSTEM

Dough preparation

The M&S "dry" PPVF ceramic body preparation technology is the most innovative system in existence.
The main advantages compared to wet or dry preparation systems that use track mills and Polysius type rollers are:

  • Possibility of using clays with humidity up to 15% without using raw material dryers
  • Possibility of using clays with humidity up to 35% with the use of the Ms-DRM drying system
  • Lower total investment of the turnkey system
  • Less bulk
  • Management flexibility
  • Strong cost reduction up to €16/ton; (€10/ton with DRM drying).
  • Total absence of condensation due to evaporation in the atomization or granulation phase with a fluid bed dryer
  • Regulation and control of the grain size curve
  • Elimination of ferrous and organic impurities from the mixture
  • Powder humidification and pelletization with automatic humidity management
  • Loading to the press
  • Considerable increase in the ceramic characteristics of the final product (increase in the press stops of the green, dried, fired tensile strength)
  • Smooth support surface for less use of engobe and glaze
  • Increased oven performance thanks to the homogeneity of the humidity in the dough
  • Guarantee on the final product.

This system is ideal for the production of
single-fired, double-fired, glazed porcelain and high quality extruded products (klinker, terracotta vases, special pieces, etc.) proven by over 150 creations in the world for a total production capacity of over 800.000.000 m2/year
.

MANFREDINI & SCHIANCHI GROWS IN THE WORLD OF EXTRUDED PRODUCTS

The expansion of M&S continues worldwide by providing dry raw material preparation technology in the following countries:

Spain: at Tejas Perez Garcia, an important Andalusian company from Bailen, a well-known Spanish tile production hub, M&S has completed a grinding plant for the production of prestigious Arab tiles.
The primary grinding takes place through an MS/PIG type hammer mill, subsequently the material passes to the aspirated Pendulum Mill and is then humidified using the MS2000 humidifier.

Saudi Arabia: M&S has supplied Al Khayyat Red Bricks, a well-known company from Kingdon, with a plant for grinding fired brick waste.
The supply is complete from the electrical system, extraction system to the support carpentry. The heart of the technology capable of grinding over 200 tons of waste per day is the mammoth MAXI-PIG Hammer Mill

Mexico: At Ladrillera Mecanizada, M&S renovated the raw material preparation department, providing a series of fully equipped machinery for pre-grinding and humidification, and subsequently completed the work by arranging the grinding with the suction of the pendulum mill

M&S TECHNOLOGY AT “CBC 2” CERAMIC BODY

KBC 2

The CBC of Pgneto di Prignano (Italy), a well-known producer of ceramic bodies for single and double firing which serves almost the entire Sassuolo ceramic district, has commissioned Manfredini & Schianchi to supply the process machines for the new production plant which has also been built in Pigneto (CBC2) at the former Ferrari ceramics.

The heart of the supply is 1 PIG/8/A Hammer Mill and 2 MS-4-150-AIR Pendular Mills for a total production capacity of up to 40 tons/h.

With this plant, CBC confirms its leadership in the supply of dry mixes in the Sassuolo area; Precisely for this reason it decided to use the "via a Secco" technology from Manfredini & Schianchi, which has been supplying complete systems for the preparation of ceramic raw materials all over the world for over 40 years.

BELL CERAMICS BANGALORE DOUBLES

Bell Ceramics, a well-known Indian ceramic group, recently commissioned M&S to double the "dry body preparation" department for the Bangalore factory.

With this supply, Bell will be able to produce over 22.000 mXNUMX/day of red body flooring, thus managing to satisfy the continuous increase in requests for its product which in recent years has stood out in the entire Indian market for its aesthetic qualities and consistency. quality.

EXPANSION CONTINUES IN THE BRAZILIAN MARKET

MS do Brazil

M&S is present with its own branch in Brazil, in Criciuma. Penetration of the Brazilian market began in 1994, through the collaboration with Bozan Automacao.
Thanks to an excellent job of commercial penetration, the major tile producers in Brazil soon became M&S customers. This success convinced the company in partnership with the founders of Bozan, Jorge Bozzetto and Angelo Silvestre, to open, two years ago, a production unit equipped with around twenty operators, capable of working at full capacity and supplying plants in Brazil complete with grinding for "dry route", turnkey.
