NEW DRY COLORING PLANT FOR PORCELAIN STONEWARE AND ZIRCONIA CERAMIC INAUGURATED

A dry coloring system for porcelain stoneware, better known as COLOR DRY, has just been completed at Ceramic Zirconio in Castellon (Spain).
The result of years of research and study by Manfredini and Schianchi, making the most of the collaboration of the most important color producers, the COLOR DRY technology is a patented basic dry coloring system for porcelain stoneware, which allows all porcelain stoneware producers to be able to best customize tiles with the particular aesthetic effects most requested today on the market (rustic, salt and pepper, glazed porcelain, etc..), without using the atomizer.

The coloring system at Zirconio, installed on a Nassetti 2000 press, is of the continuous type and is capable of producing full-body porcelain with three different colors plus a base or alternatively, four different colors.
The type of final product obtained is very similar to "natural stones" or "travertine" by adding crystalline nuances in the enamelling phase.

IMPORTANT CREATIONS OF MANFREDINI & SCHIANCHI IN THE WORLD

Degrea

Vipax

Manfredini & Schianchi confirms the growing success of its own
proposals in the extruded products sector, by virtue of recent creations and new orders acquired.

Calcelmenti Jonici SpA, a company of the Italcementi group, is about to start a new production line of high quality roof tiles. The clays will be prepared dryly with a new and complete grinding plant for an initial production capacity of 10 tons/h expandable to 20 tons/h.

Degrea SpA, a new entrepreneurial reality in the garden terracotta pots sector, wanted to confirm its confidence in the choice of dry grinding as a winning technology in the preparation of raw materials, as part of the most modern and advanced production process. The plant has a production capacity of 20 tons/h.

Vipax SarL, a Portuguese company specialized in the production of
low absorption extruded coating, will expand its raw material preparation department with a new and technologically advanced grinding plant with pendulum mill in an air vein, with a production capacity of 8 tons/h, for the treatment of white clays and the creation of highly vitrified mixtures.

Elgin-Butler Brick Co., a US company specialized in the production of Structural Glazed Brick and Tile, has commissioned the construction of a new raw materials grinding plant, both for extruded and pressed products, for a production capacity of 35 tons/ h for clays and 20 tons/h for chamotte.

ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION FOR MANFREDINI & SCHIANCHI

Manfredini & Schianchi has obtained the ISO 9001 corporate quality certification from the international certifying body DNV (Det Norske Veritas).
Founded in 1962 in Sassuolo, Manfredini & Schianchi has increasingly specialized in the creation of turnkey plants for the dry treatment and grinding of raw materials for the ceramic and brick industry, so much so that, over the last few years, it has become ten years, the only leading company in applying "dry" technology in a particular sector such as that of extruded products. Precisely for this reason, Manfredini & Schianchi, increasingly determined to offer its customers a higher quality service, wanted to protect itself on a global level by obtaining the prestigious ISO9001 mark.
