ANOTHER SUPPLY OF MAXI-PIG MILLS FOR BRIQUETERIE DE LA TAFNA

Tafna

Briqueterie de la Tafna, the largest manufacturer of bricks of Algeria and ‘historical’ customer of M&S, has ordered yet another hammer mill. In particular, the order includes four MAXI-PIG mills, which will be added to the existing five mills of the factory (four MAXI-PIG and a PIG-B).

Thanks to M&S technology, the system is capable of handling extremely hard clay, with a considerable content of stone and a 12% moisture content of incoming material. Despite these troublesome characteristics, the daily production will be 3000 tons equal to 1,000,000 rapid drying bricks a day.

MS CONSOLIDATES ITS PRESENCE IN VIETNAM’S BRICK SECTOR

Mid-2011, an important system for the production of ‘Cotto Fiorentino’ type bricks, designed and built by Manfredini & Schianchi, will be put into operation in Vietnam at BAC GIANG STAR J.S.C. – which is part of the TAXUCO group.

The system will consist of a MAXI-PIG heated hammer mill, two MS XIV/265 screens and a MIXER 500 mixing/moistening machine.

This equipment will be handling a mixture with 95% of local clay (two different types) and 5% of inert and waste materials. The moisture content of the incoming material is 12% and the final production output will be 20t/h, equal to 3,000,000 square metres a year of Cotto.

This will be the first of a series of systems that the Vietnamese company will be installing in Vietnam and surrounding countries, with the successful co-operation of Manfredini e Schianchi.

The 150 mtr long jumbo kiln guarantees beyond 16.000 m2/day with tiles featuring outstanding mechanical data such as 300 kg/cm2 as fired product bending strength and a water absorption lower than 6%.

Ceramica San Lorenzo Peru is a landmark of quality and cost effectiveness which stands out of the traditionally conceived tile factories in the Andean region.

How much does M&S Dry Process technology cost? time to read that is hardly enough before profits come over ….
