M&S CONSOLIDATES THEIR PRESENCE IN RUSSIA

Manfredini & Schianchi have recently realized and started up a new dry grinding plant for the production of facing bricks at the Tverskayya brickworks situated 200 Km from Mosca (Russia).

This installation permits a production of 32 t/h of humidified product at 8%. The material to be transformed upstream the plant enters with sizes variable from 0 to 20 mm & with a humidity of > 20% and is highly contaminated with calcium carbonates.

The technological line is composed of a rotary dryer, primary grinding by means of a MAXI P.I.G. Hammer Mill, particle size selection through 4 High Efficiency Screens type MS/XIV/256, secondary grinding with the P.I.G. Finishing Hammer Mills and the final moistening by means of the 2 Wetting machines type MS2000.

The M&S process allows the Customer to utilize raw materials that are available locally and to be able to manage (by 100%) the problem of the carbonate contamination and rendering, at the end of the process, ground clay perfectly suitable for the production of high quality brickworks.

The Plant produces 60 million pieces per Year.

NEW M&S LINE FOR RECUPERATING FIRED REJECTS IN SAUDI ARABIA

Recupero scarti cotti

Manfredini & Schianchi implement a new and ulterior fired rejects grinding line in the fourth production establishment of El Khayyat Red Brick Co. (Saudi Arabia).

This Plant includes a P.I.G. type A Hammer Mill for the grinding stage and a process Screen type MS/X/215. Even in this fourth plant the innovation is the moistening of the Chamotte ground downstream the process by means of the Wetting machine MS2000.

This phase is used to render the powder obtained from the recuperation of fired rejects perfectly mixable with the normal process clay.

The installation can accept entrance sizes up to 250 mm and has a production capacity of 12 t/h with an output particle size < 1 mm.

Electrical consumption is 8 kW/t.

MANFREDINI & SCHIANCHI CONSOLIDATE THEIR LEADERSHIP IN THE SOUTH AMERICAN MARKET

Ceramica Alberdi S.A, important & prestigious Argentine reality who have been operating in the Ceramic sector since 1907, has commissioned Manfredini & Schianchi to realize a new complete Dry-Tech Raw Materials Preparation Plant with a production capacity of 30 t/h.

The plant is characterized with the latest technology regarding grinding and management of raw materials for Ceramic use with a maximum electrical consumption of 18 kWh/ton, thermal consumption of 1,7 m3/ton & the utilization of only 40 litres water/ton of ceramic mass ready for pressing.

The new productive unit will be installed in the province of Salta, North of the great Latin American Country, with the objective of producing 5.600.000 m2 per year of single fired low absorption tiles with sizes up to 52,2 x 52.2 cm.

The complete technology supplied by Manfredini & Schianchi includes the complete & thorough study of the raw materials available and the personalized realization of the preparation unit, with the objective to produce high quality ceramic products with contained production costs and high productive performances in the pressing, drying and firing phases.

The dry prepared ceramic composition of Manfredini & Schianchi will serve a line with two 3020 ton presses, a 5 story dryer and single-layered kiln of 159 meters in length & 3,05 meters in width.

With this new production unit, Ceramica Alberdi s.a., wisely managed by the Rappallini Family, will be endowed with the most advanced technology for the production of single-fired tiles in the whole Latin American continent.

M&S DRYTECH TECHNOLOGY FOR LARGE SIZES IN INDIA

Murudeshwar Ceramics Ltd

Drytech india

The company Murudeshwar Ceramics in Hubli (State of Karnataka in South India), thanks to the DRY TECH preparation system of Manfredini & Schianchi, is producing single fired red vitrified floor tiles in sizes up to 60x60 squared & rectified.

This type of product, highly sought after on the Indian market, is the fruit of a collaboration between the MIUR Technological Center of Manfredini & Schianchi (the only laboratory in the sector with this qualification) and the Heads of the Marketing, Production & Sales departments from Murudeshwar.

Manfredini & Schianchi has developed a complete ceramic mixture, focalizing their own research on the availability of raw materials in areas local to the production unit, thus permitting high economical savings in respect to the use of similar mixtures treated by the wet system. The Customer’s requirement of obtaining a high quality product (with a smooth surface, using glossy glazes & imitations of marble, granite, wood & other) with particularly contained costs and therefore with a consequent increase in the sales profits, has been fully satisfied.

The Manfredini & Schianchi DRY TECH technology is the ideal solution for all those who want to introduce products that are particularly innovative and highly prestigious but without using expensive spray dried mixtures.

LA PROBA ED AGUILA IN MEXICO GROW IN QUALITY WITH M&S

La Proba El Aguila S.A., important Manufacturer of glazed roof tiles situated in the city of Leon in Mexico, has recently inaugurated a New Raw Materials Dry Preparation Plant with the Manfredini & Schianchi DRY TECH technology.

The Company from Sassuolo has supplied the Mexican Manufacturer with a Plant complete of all phases, including a Pendular Mill type MOLOMAX MS/4/150.

The main characteristics of this installation are the following:

  • A production of 20 t/h with a particle size at exit of maximum 6% > 0,15 mm
  • Thermal consumption 600 kcal/liter
  • Electrical consumption 12 kWh/ton of finished product
  • Noise level 85 dB

Thanks to this new clay preparation plant, La Proba El Aguila considerably increase their production  capacity of roof tiles and, thanks also to the reduction of firing & drying times, increase the quality of the final product, improving the surfaces, diminishing the porosity and increasing the mechanical resistance.  Also, thanks to the savings in the quantity of glazes to be used, also the production costs are drastically reduced.

La Proba El Aguila, founded in 1987, is today a strong productive reality that is greatly expanding.
