M&S SUPPLIE COLOR DRY PLANT TO EMILCERAMICA

Manfredini & Schianchi is building new plants for important ceramic companies.
The first for Ceramica Acif (Emilceramica Group), along the lines of the plant already supplied to the head company's factory in Fiorano (Modena-Italy), is a dry colouring plant for spray dried powder for porcelain tile.
The system is able to guarantee uniform colouring for lower processing costs without variations in moisture content and grain size distribution.

M&S CELEBRATES 40th ANNIVERSARY IN RIMINI

On 4 October 2002, during Tecnargilla, Manfredini & Schìanchì celebrated its 40th anniversary with a gala evening held in the prestigious Grand Hotel in Rìminì. Durìng the evenìng the company also presented the project for the new M&S sìte, which will become operative by the end of 2003. The event was attended by about 190 people, including employees, customers and friends from all over the world.
Umberto Manfredini, the company's chairman, expressed his gratitude to the most faithful customers, employees and partners by presenting them with a work of art by Franca Gualmini, a wellknown Modenese artist.
Another important moment during the evening was the presentation of a silver plaque and two paintings by Peruvian artists to the two founding partners - Umberto Manfredini and Gianfranco Schianchi -by Jorge Bozzetto, the Brazìlian partner in the M&S do Brasil branch, who wanted to repay the esteem and trust that had been accorded to him over the years by M&S Italia.

NEW RAK CERAMICS FACTORY IN U.A.E.

Rak Ceramics officially opened a new factory in the United Arab Emirates. Manfredini & Schianchi is constructing a complete dry-process raw materials preparation line for rapid-cycle production of 24,000 square metres/day of monoporosa and single fired tile.
The important order coincide with the company's 40th anniversary, which it will celebrate together with its employees and most faithful customers on 4 October, during Tecnargilla, at the Grand Hotel in Rimini.

NOVOKER INAUGURATES THE FIRST WHITE BODY DRY GRINDING SYSTEM

Manfredini & Schianchi has developed a complete system for the dry preparation of ceramic material for the production of pressed white body tile for the prestigious and well-positioned Slovakian company Bloomsbury Pacific-Novoker.
This new system provides a 50% reduction in costs with respect to the traditional technique.
This is an extremely important reference for both the Eastern European area and the type of product (white body), as well as for the particular climatic and moisture conditions (up to 25%) of the raw materials.
This installation opens up limitless prospects to the Manfredini & Schianchi process for dry preparation of raw materials.
