MANFREDINI & SCHIANCHI SUPPLIES PLANTS TO KIA (INDONESIA)

Manfredini & Schianchi has also secured an important contract in Indonesia. Kia, the foremost glazed roof tile manufacturer in Southeast Asia, has commissioned a second dry grinding plant with PIG hammer mills to assure complete elimination of calcium carbonate lumps in raw materials and an improved surface texture, essential factors for achieving a high-quality glazed product.

Manfredini & Schianchi continues development in heavy clay sector in Portugal.
Grestejo, another Portuguese company based, 80 km from Lisbon, a new name in the hi-tech extruded floor and wall covering sector, is about to complete total renovation of its production unit. This involves the installation of a new hi-tech dry grinding plant with raw materials batching and mixing.
The objective is to obtain a low-absorption product with firing temperature of up to 1300°C.

CONTINUES DEVELOPMENT IN THE U.S.A.

Manfredini & Schianchi continues continues development in heavy clay sector and expansion in foreign markets with the construction of new dry raw materials preparation plants in USA.
A new PIG hammer mill with heating system has come on stream at US Tile, a roof tile manufacturer based in California. This new mill will allow the client to treat raw materials with a moisture content of up to 13-14% while assuring the highest production and functional parameters. Again in the United States.
Eigin Butler (Texas) is currently adapting its Manfredini & Schianchi dry grinding plant with PIG hammer mills for the production of facing bricks with a production capacity of 35 ton/h.

M&S INSTALLS NEW PLANT AT INTERPASTAS (PORTUGAL)

Interpastas, a supplier of red body mixtures for various Portuguese manufacturers, has replaced its filter pressing plant and purchased a pendular mill from Manfredini & Schianchi.
It has also started up a dry ground body production process to cut production costs and improve finished product quality.

SOTELHA (PORTUGAL) COMMISSIONED SECOND COMPLETE PLANT TO M&S

Manfredini & Schianchi continues its expansion in foreign markets with the construction of new dry raw materials preparation plants in Portugal.
Sotelha, a leading Portuguese roof tile manufacturer, was so pleased with the results of its first grinding plant, which has been in operation for three years now, that it has commissioned a second complete plant to be dedicated to preparation of mix for high-quality rustic and glazed roof tiles.
This is the first installation of this kind in Portugal and is a clear example of a technological process upgrade for the purpose of securing a product upgrade.

NEW GRINDING TECHNOLOGY AT CERAMICA LA GUGLIA

The company Ceramica La Guglia from Sassuolo (part of the C.B.S. group), quality producer of wall and floor tiles, has commissioned the company M&S to enlarge its system for dry method raw material preparation.
The heart of the new system is the innovative MS-4/150 pendular mill, which guarantees high productivity (up to 20% more than traditional pendular mills) with extremely fine separation cuts, and thus delivers an end product with a constantly high quality.
The new production line will be operational by the end of the year.

"COMPACTCOLOR"+PEGASUS AT THE CEUSA CERAMIC INDUSTRY (BRAZIL)

Ceusa, one of the most important makers of ceramic tiles in Brazil, has recently purchased from Manfredini&Schianchi a "COMPATCOLOR" tower for the production of technical porcelain stoneware.
The system, installed upstream to the press, is capable of producing porcelain stoneware products, with a simple spray dried base and a series of colouring oxides (as many as six), having a considerable aesthetic value. The tower exploits the following technology:

Color-Dry (for dry-colouring spray dried bases, patented in 1994)

Color-Flakes (an exclusive patent, which allows for the formation of perfectly blended and dedusted coloured flakes of various sizes)

Multifeed system (for obtaining multicoloured and veined products)
Furthermore, the system is capable of feeding a second press and accommodating a system for "salt and pepper" effects.
The system on board the press is equipped with the brand new PEGASUS double-charging feeder, which will enable CEUSA to manufacture prestigious products.
