MS Self Cleaning Plate Magnets are simple and convenient instruments for iron removal and protecting rough milling machines in milling and crushing systems.
They are basically composed of permanent magnets that are totally maintenance-free.
Furthermore their magnetic field strength is constant. They are ideal for raw materials, such as calcined clay for instance, that are liable to contain foreign matters (metal, bolts, etc.).
The Self Cleaning Plate Magnets are positioned above conveyor belts transporting material to the rough milling machine. MS magnets capture all large, medium and small sized foreign matters with a ferrous base to protect the grinding implements of the mill (hammers, rotors, etc.)

MS Self Cleaning Plate Magnets are installed above the conveyor belt in both the fixed and self-cleaning versions.
The latter is composed of a magnet that moves periodically over a scraper that removes any ferrous deposits and renders the magnet once again ready and effective for its protective function.
MS Self Cleaning Plate Magnets are supplied with an electromechanical board, featuring two times that regulate the cleaning and working time, and a pneumatic cylinder all mounted onto a sturdy section bar structure.
