The machine is composed by a mixing chamber in high resistance carbon steel, divided in two parts: the first one is opened and two hexagonal counter-rotating steel shafts, equipped with mixing paddles turn in it; the second part is closed and the shafts are here constituted by screws which push the material on a grid.
The features of the MS humidifier-mixer are various and they have been studied for the increasing demands of high quality productions.
The first problem which has been faced has been the realization of a machine capable to close hermetically once it is stopped, in order to avoid the drying of the material which remains into the chamber and in the grid: this takes to eliminate the creation of agglomerates which would be extremely harmful in the processing.
This problem has been solved through applying guillotine pneumatic valves to the mixer loading and unloading mouth, having an automatic closing once the machine stops.
The second main feature of this innovative machine is the presence of an adjustable speed transmission, so as to maintain in the mixing chamber the same level of material both with high or low productions: the result is a perfect homogeneity of the mixture and thus a constant quality in the final product
