In the MS Centrifugal Impact Mills grinding is effected by collisions between particles arising from the inertial force caused by the high speed of the horizontal rotor.
The horizontal rotor imparts to the material introduced from above an inertia equal to its tangential velocity. The particles of material thus collide with the others and, in particular, the rotor is lined with trapped stone.
This functioning principle takes to the major advantage that wear is virtually non existent. Moreover, high speed grinding effected by the Mill improves the quality and the shape of the inerts which retain a high uniform superior cubical shape throughout the full range, achieving an ideal fracture rate for a good mechanic resistance.
The MS Centrifugal Impact Mills are suitable for medium or high hardness raw materials for high production levels (with an input capacity from 30 to 145 tons/h.) and for particle size from 0,5 to 4 mm.
The Mill is particularly indicated for pre-grinding lines both for dry and wet milling.
