The MSC 4/2 Crushing Mill is designed to crush large pieces of raw material (clay, kaolin, feldspar etc.) having sizes ranging from 500 mm to 600 mm on input and from 60 mm to 75 mm on output.
The machine's main purpose is reducing material size to make it suitable for the next processes of primary milling, dosing, deferrisation, etc.
The Crushing Mill includes:
a thick carbon steel casing, lined with adjustable armour plates that are hard-faced with wear-proof material;
a rotor complete with hammers made of special-alloy;
two lump crushers (beating masses), adjustable via special pads according to material input size.
The crushing is performed on an OPEN-CYCLE basis, through a combination of direct impact of the material entering at low speed with the lump crushers as well as with the rotor's hammers and indirect impact occurring later on, when fragments will hit armour plates inside the casing.
For these reasons, the MSC 4/2 Crushing Mill gives you high productivity and relatively low wear when compared with other crushing mills.
